Great Puritan MigrationChristian (Hunter) More (1615 – 18 March 1676) was born in Southwold, Suffolk, England. She married Richard More. Her children were Caleb More, Joshua More, Richard More Jr., Susanna More and Christian More. She died in 1676, in Salem, Massachusetts.
Early life
Christian Hunter was baptised, possibly at Southwold, Suffolk, on 13 August 1615.[1] According to Wikipedia, she came to America on the Blessing in 1635.[1]
Marriage and family
She married Richard More in 1636.[1][3] The marriage year is given in one account as both 20 April and 20 October 1636, while Mayflower History gives 20 October 1636 at Plymouth.[3] The couple had seven children, among them Caleb, Joshua, Richard, Susanna and Christian.[2][4][5][6]
Later life and death
Christian More died in Salem on 18 March 1676.[1]
