He married Aida Birrell Carson Iglehart. His children were Philip Lawrence Birrell Iglehart and Stewart Birrell Iglehart. He died in 1946, in Westbury, Long Island, New York, USA.

On 19 April 1909 he married Aida Birrell Carson in Viña del Mar, Chile.[3] His sons were Stewart Birrell Iglehart and Philip Lawrence Birrell Iglehart.[2]

Iglehart was an executive of W.R. Grace & Co. in South America.[1]
Later life and death
According to his obituary in the Santiago newspaper La Nación, he died on 14 May 1946 at his residence, "La Granja", in Westbury, Long Island, New York.[1]
