Edward Doty (1636 – 8 February 1689) was born to Edward Doty and Faith (Clarke) Doty. He died in 1689, in Plymouth Harbor, Plymouth Colony.
Early life
Edward Doty was born about 1636.[1] He was a child of Edward Doty and Faith (Clarke) Doty.[1] According to Wikipedia, his parents married on January 9, 1635, and had seven children by the time Bradford wrote, with two more born later.[2] The same source lists the children of Edward and Faith Doty as Edward, John, Thomas, Samuel, Desire, Elizabeth, Isaac, Joseph and Mary.[3]
Death
Edward Doty drowned in Plymouth Harbor on February 8, 1689/90.[1]
