George Martin Gillet (9 July 1865 – 18 August 1935) was born in Baltimore, Maryland. He married Mary Frances (Koons) Gillet. His children were Charles Berkley Gillet, Francis Warrington Gillet and George Martin Gillet Jr.. He died in 1935, in Baltimore, Maryland.

George Martin Gillet was born on 9 July 1865 in Baltimore, Maryland, the son of George Musgrave Gillet and Antoinette Jacobsen Gillet.[1][2]
Marriage and family
On 3 November 1891 he married Mary Frances Koons.[4]
Career
According to the Baltimore Sun, he was chairman of the Board of Directors of the investment banking firm of Gillett Co.[2]
Later life and death
Gillet died at his Baltimore home on the night of 18–19 August 1935, aged 70, according to the Baltimore Sun; FamilySearch and Ancestry indexes instead give his death as 18 September 1935, and the discrepancy remains unresolved.[2][3] He was buried in Saint Thomas Episcopal Church Cemetery, Owings Mills, Baltimore, Maryland.[3]
