LOCKED 2026-10-19 as father of martha-reyner-whipple: his own will (Essex Probate vol.1, 10 Sep 1660) names 'my son John Whipple Junior of Ipswich' and 'my daughter Whipple', wife Mary, and 'my dear brother m[r] John Reynor pastor of Dover'; NEHGR v11 p.360 pedigree Humphrey Reyner = Mary -> Martha = Capt. John Whipple. Of Rowley, MA: freeman 1642, deputy 1649, ruling elder. Other daughters: Ann m. 1652 William Hobson; Mary m. Rev. Michael Wigglesworth (not ancestors). Brother of rev. john-reyner-rev-1605 (pedigree collapse: Natalie descends from both brothers). Parents LEAD (not linked): Gildersome/Batley Reynor family; NEHGR suggests Bernard Reynor x Dorothy Kitson (m. 1586) had a son Humphrey perhaps bap. 26 Dec 1587 - unproven.
