John Tilley (1599 – 1636) was born in Henlow, Bedfordshire, England to Joan (Hurst) Tilley and John Tilley. He died in 1636, in Saybrook, Connecticut.
Marriage and family
He married Joan Hurst, widow of an earlier husband, on 20 September 1596 at Henlow in Bedfordshire.[3] Five children of the marriage were baptized at Henlow between 1597 and 1607.[4]
Later life and death
Wikipedia states that Tilley died in 1636 in Saybrook, Connecticut.[1]
