Mayflower passengerMary Chilton (1607 – 1679) was born in Sandwich, Kent, England to James Chilton and Mrs. Chilton. Her children were John Winslow and Benjamin Winslow. She died in 1679, in Boston, Massachusetts Bay Colony.
Early life
Mary Chilton was baptized on 31 May 1607 at Sandwich, Kent, the daughter of James Chilton.[1][4] Her mother is listed by Bradford as "Mrs. Chilton", and both parents came on the Mayflower with her.[4] She sailed on the Mayflower aged thirteen with her parents.[1]
Marriage and family
Mary Chilton married John Winslow and had ten children.[1]
Later life and death
She died at Boston before May 1679.[1]
