Myrta Johnson Mellenbruch (née Johnson) (15 July 1880 – 15 May 1959) was born in near Macon, Republic County, Nebraska to Albert Johnson and Florence Johnson. She married Charles Frederick Mellenbruch. Her child was Donald Lawrence Mellenbruch. She died in 1959, in Hiawatha Community Hospital.

Myrta Johnson was born on July 15, 1880, near Macon, Republic County, Nebraska.[2] According to her obituary, she was the daughter of Albert Johnson and Florence Johnson.[2][7]
Marriage and family
She was the wife of Charles Frederick Mellenbruch and the mother of his children, including Donald Lawrence Mellenbruch.[1] Donald Lawrence Mellenbruch is recorded as the son of Charles Frederick Mellenbruch and Myrta Johnson Mellenbruch.[4] His 1991 obituary identifies him as the son of C. Fred and Myrta Johnson Mellenbruch, abbreviating his father's given names.[5][6]
Later life and death
A contemporaneous death notice described her as Myrta Mellenbruch, 78, wife of C. F. Mellenbruch of Fairview.[3] It reported that she died at noon on Friday, May 15, 1959, at the Hiawatha Community Hospital, following a heart attack.[3]
