Residences

Wikipedia describes the identification of Mary's first husband as Edward Prower as probable and attributes it to Johnson's research.[1][3]

Marriage and family

Johnson believes that Edward Prower married Mary about 1592.[1][3] According to Wikipedia, Edward and Mary Prower had children, all born or baptized in Great Burstead.[2][4][5][6] These children were Edward, about 1594, Solomon, John, in 1599, and Mary, in 1601.[2][4][5][6] An unnamed child was buried in 1603.[2][4][5][6] The naming of Edward Prower as the father of these children rests on Johnson's belief rather than on a record cited by name.[2][4][5][6]

Later life and death

Johnson places Edward Prower's death between 1603 and February 1606/07.[1]
