Elizabeth Tilley (died 27 March 1614) was born in Henlow, Bedfordshire, England. She married Robert Tilley. Her children were John Tilley and Edward Tilley. She died in 1614, in Henlow, Bedfordshire, England.
Marriage and family
Elizabeth Tilley was the wife of Robert Tilley of Henlow, Bedfordshire.[1][6][7] Her maiden surname is unproven; the Great Migration study gives it as blank and notes the possibility that she was an Ellborne.[1][2] Her sons were John Tilley, baptized at Henlow on 19 December 1571 as the son of Robert and Elizabeth Tilley, and Edward Tilley, baptized there on 27 May 1588 as the son of Robert and Elizabeth Tilley.[1][6][7]
Later life and death
The Henlow parish register records the burial on 27 March 1613/4 of "Ellz Tillie, vdd." — that is, Elizabeth, widow of Robert Tilley.[4]
