Prudence was the wife of William Brewster of Scrooby.[1] She was the mother of Elder William Brewster.[1] According to the same account, no other child of theirs was living in 1590.[1]
Widowhood
The York records show that on July 24, 1590, administration on the estate of William Brewster at Scrooby was granted to his son William.[2] Prudence, the widow, was named in that administration alone besides the son, and she declined the trust.[2][3]
