James (J. H.) Neville (born 1872) was born to John Neville and Margaret Neville.
Early life and family
James H. Neville was a son of Margaret Neville and John Neville of Cleveland.[1][3][5] That notice gives the family's residence as 1421 Clark Avenue, and states that the funeral was held from St. Augustine's church at Howard and West 14th Street.[3]
Career
The 1888 Cleveland directory listed James H. Neville as a brakeman boarding at 14 Thurman, the same address at which his father John Neville was recorded as a brakeman that year.[4] The 1891 directory records both of them as switchmen residing at 14 Thurman.[4]
Later life and death
James Neville was named as a surviving brother in a brother's 1946 death notice, but he was not named in the 1949 death notice of another brother, which the record notes suggests that he died before 1949.[2]
