Benedict Finzer was a son of Niclaus Finzer and Anna (Mori) Finzer of Berne, Switzerland, according to a published genealogy of the Sugarcreek Finzer family.[2][5] He was a native of Switzerland.[1]
Marriage and family
Benedict Finzer married Anna (Koch) Finzer, and the couple belonged to the Finzer family of Sugarcreek.[2][3] According to a biography of one of their sons, Benedict and Anna Finzer had eleven children.[1] David Finzer, who was born in 1852 in Switzerland and was of Sugarcreek, has been identified as a probable son of Benedict and Anna (Koch) Finzer, but the relationship is unproven.[4]
