  1. William B. Saxbe Jr., Richard Bowen (1594?-1675) of Rehoboth and His Descendants: "1. RICHARD1 Bowen was born in Britain ... possibly about 1594 ... buried at Rehoboth ... 4 February 1674/5. The identity of his first wife, the mother of his children, is unknown"; m2 Elizabeth ( ) Marsh, widow, Weymouth Nov 1648. Children: "4 iv Ruth Bowen, born about 1626; married George Kendrick." "4. Ruth2 BOWEN (Richard1) ... buried at Rehoboth 31 October 1688. She married ... GEORGE Kendrick at Rehoboth 23 April 1647" and "was named in her father's will, about 1674". Matches: husband George Kendrick, Rehoboth 1647 marriage, burial 1688 — same as ruth-bowen-kendrick.

William B. Saxbe Jr., Richard Bowen (1594?-1675), of Rehoboth, Massachusetts, and his descendants (IA richardbowen159401saxb): Richard1 Bowen will names daughter "Ruth Kendrick"; "4. Ruth2 BOWEN ... married ... GEORGE Kendrick at Rehoboth 23 April 1647"; children include "iii Sarah Kendrick, b. 12 April 1652" (cites Rehoboth VRs 658). Independent second source that Ruth Bowen is George Kendrick's wife and mother of Sarah b. 1652. NOTE: Saxbe's aside "probably d. young" is WRONG — Medfield VR shows Sarah Kenricke m. Samuell Wheelocke 1678-04-03; she lived to 1714 (Medway death as w. Josiah).
