Steward Southgate (8 September 1703 – 1764) was born in Combs, Suffolk, England to Richard Southgate and Elizabeth (Steward) Southgate. He married Sarah (Scott) Southgate. His child was Dr. Robert Southgate. He died in 1764, in Leicester, Massachusetts.

LOCKED 2026-10-28. Steward Southgate, b. 8 Sep 1703 Combs (Coombs), Suffolk; came to New England with his family 1717, among the first settlers of Leicester MA 1718; m. (1) 28 Mar 1735 Sarah Scott, (2) 26 Oct 1749 Elizabeth Potter; became a Quaker; d. Leicester Dec 1764.
