LOCKED 2026-10-31. William Greenough, sea captain of Boston, freeman 1669; m. 4 Jul 1652 Boston Elizabeth, daughter of Nicholas Upshall; eleven children b. 1656-1676 (all d. young except Elizabeth, who m. William Roby, and Mercy, who m. Henry Gibbs); will 24 Jul 1678 'bound on a voyage', proved 1 Feb 1686, by which time his widow had m. Timothy Prout. Death date unknown (between 1678 and 1686).
