Hepsibah Brigham (1 June 1732 – 1815) was born in Marlboro, Massachusetts to Lieut. Nathan Brigham and Hepsibah Ward. She married Col. John Taplin. Her children were Major John Taplin and Johnson Taplin. She died in 1815, in Corinth, Vermont.
Early life
Hepsibah Brigham was born in 1732, the daughter of Lieut. Nathan Brigham and Hepsibah (Ward) Brigham.[1][7] The Brigham genealogy names her mother as Hepsibah Ward, noting explicitly that she was not Elizabeth, and describes Hepsibah Ward as Lieut. Nathan Brigham's second wife.[1][6][7]
Marriage and family
She was the wife of Col. John Taplin (1726–1803).[1][4][7] Her son Major John Taplin was born in 1748.[5]
Later life and death
Hepsibah Brigham died in 1815.[1]
