John H. Taplin (20 March 1791 – 25 September 1859) was born in Corinth, Orange County, Vermont to Johnson Taplin and Miriam Haseltine. He married Susan Davis. His child was Elizabeth Hoover. He died in 1859.
Early life
John H. Taplin was born on 20 March 1791 in Corinth, Vermont, the son of Johnson Taplin and Miriam Haseltine.[1][4] He was three or four years old when his father came to Stanstead Plain, and he remained with his father until he came of age.[1]
Marriage and family
After coming of age he married Susan Davis.[1][3] The couple settled near Fitch Bay.[1][3]
Later life and death
John H. Taplin died on 25 September 1859.[1] His wife, Susan Davis, died in 1861.[1]
