Susan Davis (died 1861) is part of the Davis family recorded on Mayflower.family. She married John H. Taplin. Her child was Elizabeth Hoover. She died in 1861.
Marriage and family
Susan Davis married John H. Taplin, who had remained with his father until he became of age.[3] After the marriage the couple settled near Fitch Bay in Stanstead County, Quebec.[1][3] A Taplin family genealogy lists among the children a daughter born on 10 April 1816.[2] That genealogy does not give the daughter the name Elizabeth Hoover, and whether the two are the same person is unresolved.[2]
Later life and death
John H. Taplin died on 25 September 1859.[1] Susan Davis died in 1861.[1]
