Mayflower passengerMary Allerton (1616 – 28 November 1699) was born in Leiden, Holland to Isaac Allerton and Mary (Norris) Allerton. She died in 1699, in Plymouth, Plymouth Colony.
Early life
Mary Allerton was born at Leiden, Holland, to Isaac Allerton and Mary Norris Allerton.[1] Her parents had married in Leiden on 4 November 1611.[3] Sources differ slightly on her birth year: one gives about 1616, possibly with a baptism in June 1616, while an account of her father's family gives about 1616/17.[1][2] She came to Plymouth on the Mayflower at about four years of age.[1]
Marriage and family
Mary married about 1636 and had eight children.[1]
Later life and death
She died on 28 November 1699 and was the last surviving Mayflower passenger.[1]
