Mary Browne married Peter Browne, whose first wife had died about 1630, about 1630 or 1631.[1] Her maiden name and parentage are unknown, and sources state that her maiden name has not been discovered.[1][5][7] According to Wikipedia, she and Peter Browne had two children.[5] Their daughter Rebecca Browne was born about 1631, and a second child was born by 1633 and had died by 1647.[6]

She survived her husband by at least one year.[3]
Later life and death
'Widow Browne' was assessed 9 shillings in the Plymouth tax list of 27 March 1634, the last certain record of her.[4] According to the American Ancestors biography, she was probably dead by 1647, when a daughter sold land without referring to the widow's dower rights.[3]
