Rev. Samuel Carter (8 August 1640 – 1693) was born in Woburn, Middlesex County, Massachusetts to Mary Carter and Rev. Thomas Carter. He married Eunice Brooks Carter. His child was Samuel Carter. He died in 1693, in Groton, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.
Early life
Samuel Carter was born on August 8, 1640, the oldest child of Rev. Thomas Carter and Mary Carter of Woburn, Massachusetts.[1][3] He graduated from Harvard College in 1660.[1]
Marriage and family
Their son Samuel Carter was the third child of the marriage and was born in Woburn on January 7, 1677, and died in Lancaster on August 30, 1738.[2]
Ministry and death
He was minister of the church in Groton, Massachusetts, and died there in the autumn of 1693.[1]
