Death and burial
According to his will, William Rogers made it on 13 August 1585, describing himself as sick in body but of whole and perfect memory.[1] The same record states that he was buried at Watford on 4 August 1585, a date earlier than that given for the will.[1] By the will he left Thomas Rogers, his eldest son, one messuage, to pass after the death of Eleanor Rogers, his wife.[2]
